Happy Mom's Day!

Whew! It's been another busy week and I am finally starting to see the end of the tunnel. Our Annual Dinner and Golf Tournament went off without a hitch (anything major anyhow) this weekend and I am so relieved that it's over. I had no idea all of the work that goes into putting something like this on. It was months of planning and getting ready and I think we were all really pleased with the end result so I would say it was a huge success. Now I have two more program sessions to get ready for before we get a bit of a summer break.

Besides work stuff, a lot of great things happened this week. One other MAJOR relief is that Courtney, Vinny and I had a mediation with our lawyer, the other car crash kids and the insurance adjuster this week and settled. It's finally all over and we can move on with our lives. And, in the end, it all turned out okay and everyone is happy.

Courtney, who is pretty much my hero after seeing how amazingly she dealt with her injuries from the accident and how quickly she recovered, moved in with me this week! She moves to Colorado Springs to join her fiance, Vinny, at the end of the month and I'm really grateful that I'll get to spend some more time with her before she leaves. It was inevitable that Courtney and I we would become friends when we became journal partners in an English class in college and then later realized we had a film class together as well. Words cannot describe how much I love and adore her and the positive impact she's had on my life. I am going to miss her like crazy and will definitely be taking trips up to Colorado every few months for visits.
