Adorable

I am happy to announce that I've now had several (three, in my mind, equals several) people refer to Dominic and I as "adorable". A descriptive word I personally tend to reserve for small things like kittens or baby shoes, adorable is a cute word to me and I'll take it. Though, one of these same people also then said to me, "If you ever break up it will ruin my faith in love. Promise me you'll never break up!" Pretty dramatic but still sweet nonetheless. I, of course, made no such promise as I tend to stay away from making promises I have no idea if I'll be able to keep. We're still fairly new and I would never promise forever this early in the game. I do know that I am as happy as I've ever been right now and a lot of that has to do with him.

This was a pretty packed weekend, the kind that usually wears me out, and I am definitely feeling a case of the Monday's times five. I had a lot of fun though. Friday night, I finally got to catch up with one of my best friends, Allie, over some beers at Marble. We usually hang out at least once a week but I hadn't seen her in a few. She's going to be moving down the street from me though so I imagine lots of lovely neighborhood bike rides and possibly even borrowed cups of sugar in our future. Saturday was Courtney and Vinny's wedding shower. The food was amazing and they got a TON of cool gifts. Is it sad that wedding showers always make me want to get married so I can get my house in order with matching towels and small kitchen appliances?

After that it was off to Boodchella, a party my friend Alex was throwing at his house in honor of not being able to make it to Coachella this year. We actually went a little early to watch this horrible, I repeat horrible, flick called Birdemic.  It made me recall a time when me and my friend and I decided that just like there is fucking, sex, or making love, movies could be categorized as a flick, a movie, or a film based on how good they are. For example, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a film while Saws 2 through 10 would be flicks. Anyways, Boodchella was a great time, but my favorite part of the weekend (sorry Court) has to be Sunday.

Due to my having the coolest and most generous friends in the world, I was able to attend a cast and crew showing of episodes 1 and 2 of the upcoming 4th season of Breaking Bad! I won't give anything away of course but they were both great and it was really cool to see some of the actors in real life.

From adorable to Breaking Bad, it was a pretty great weekend and I'm already counting down the hours until the next one.
